Prelaw Advising

Personal assistance in planning a solid prelaw curriculum, preparing and registering for the LSAT, and applying to law school is available through preprofessional advising.

Freshmen interested in law will be assigned to preprofessional advising while officially listed by major and advised by their major program adviser. After declaring a major through which to pursue their law school goal, students work with their departmental academic adviser for regular advisement and consult with the prelaw adviser as they have law school related questions.

Preprofessional advising needs of students enrolled in any of OSU's undergraduate colleges as well as alumni of the university and serves as adviser to the prelaw student organization (Phi Alpha Delta).
