Scholarships and Aid

Three levels of scholarship compeition exist for students in the College of Arts & Sciences:

University Level
Students from all majors are considered for University scholarships based upon the OSU admission application.
College Level
Students majoring in the College of A&S are eligible to apply for College scholarships after completing at least 12 hours at OSU (see specific scholarships for criteria). Some College Level scholarships are awarded to incoming students based upon the OSU admission application.
Departmental Level
Some departments award scholarships to students whose major is housed within the specific department.

How to Apply

To compete for these scholarships prospective freshmen and transfer students need to complete an OSU admission application.

When should you apply?

For the summer and fall entry term, apply by the November 1, 2016 Early Opportunity application deadline. You must submit all application materials by February 1, 2017 for full scholarship consideration.
